UTPD Temporarily Suspends Free Fingerprinting Service

The University of Tennessee Police Department will temporarily suspend its complimentary fingerprinting service for the rest of the spring semester.

The service is provided to active members of the university community for various reasons including job applications and security clearances.

UTPD will resume fingerprinting when the university returns to holding classes in-person.

UT will transition to online classes following spring break through the end of the spring semester in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19). The university is taking this step as a way to protect the well-being of the campus community and protect the health of our broader community and those who may be especially vulnerable to virus.

For fingerprinting needs, contact the UPS Store at 6923 Maynardville Pike for an appointment. The phone is 865-922-3964. The cost is $50 per set of cards.
